The function of the Code Enforcement Officer is to:

• Issue Permits
  Once a permit is issued the permit holder is authorized to proceed pursuant to the specific elements shown on the permit application. Inspections are required to insure compliance.
• Enforcement of Codes and Rules
  As adopted by the Town of Eliot and the State of Maine
