General Assistance

Persons who wish to apply for General Assistance with the Town of Eliot may do so at the Eliot Town Office-1333 State Road on Thursdays from 8:30am - 3:00pm.

Upon request and necessity additional appointment times will be considered.

Maine Connection: This is a State Program that assists with food stamps, healthcare, cash assistance and/or childcare benefits.

Maine Homeowner Assistance Fund Program (HAF):  A free, federally-funded program for lower income Maine homeowners seeking financial assistance with housing-related payments due to Covid-19.
