Transfer Station Survey - 2019

A few years ago, Eliot implemented Pay-to-throw, separate collection of miscellaneous plastics, and a food waste collection program at the Transfer Station.  As a result, the volume of municipal trash collected at the Transfer Station was reduced by more than 50%.  This much lower volume of trash has now been maintained for several years, saving significant tax dollars.

The Committee is now looking for input from Eliot residents.  Please complete an Eliot Transfer Station Survey (attached below) to tell us about your current use of the Transfer Station and to provide your thoughts and ideas on what additional improvements can be implemented.

Survey forms will also be available at the Clerk’s Office at Town Hall and the Transfer Station.  Completed forms can be returned to either location or emailed to Jim Tessier at jjtessier@comcast.net.
