The Eliot Select Board Special Meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 19th @ 5:30pm will still be held as the Citizen Option / Public Hearing Agenda must be finalized to meet our posting requirements.  Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation, we are strongly discouraging the public from attending.

We have attached the Draft Citizen Option / Public Hearing Agenda that will be discussed.

The Select Board may be considering an amendment to the amount to be raised and appropriated for the Maine Bicentennial Committee under Article #20 from $1,500 to $4,500.  This is the only “known” Article that we anticipated a “Citizen Option” effort to be in place for the March 30th Citizen Option / Public Hearing Meeting.

For those wishing to participate (comment / question), we encourage you to email townmanager@eliotme.org, the Town Manager will monitor that address in advance of and during the meeting.  The meeting will be streamed live and can be accessed on the Town Website at:
