Press Release 03/24/2020: Meeting Procedural Change Due to COVID-19
The Town of Eliot will be holding the Citizen Option Meeting / Public Hearing on Monday, March 30, 2020 at the Town Office in Eliot, located at 1333 State Road, Eliot, ME.
This meeting must be held due to the Town of Eliot’s Referendum Town Meeting Ordinance requirements as well as the strict timeline we must follow for town election preparation.
Governor Mills has strongly urged the citizens of Maine to implement strict social distancing measures, which includes the prohibition of meetings and functions with more than 10 people in attendance, therefore we are encouraging residents to not attend but instead review the Citizen Option Meeting / Public Hearing Agenda in advance of the meeting, see agenda attached below this statement. If you have questions prior to the meeting please send by email or phone message to Dana Lee, Town Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org or 439-1817 X107. Your questions will be answered in a timely manner. If you do not have access to a computer you can call 439-1817 X100 leave a message and a citizen option agenda will be mailed to you if time allows.
The Citizen Option Meeting / Public Hearing will be live streamed for viewing, you can access the video on the town’s website at www.eliotmaine.org, home page, and click on meeting videos.
