Information About Stormwater for Planning and Development: The Town of Eliot has two ordinances relating to stormwater, found in Sections 31 and 35: 

• Section 31: Non-Stormwater Discharges: This ordinance prohibits non-stormwater discharge into the Town's storm drainage system, provides information about allowed non-stormwater discharges, monitoring of discharges, and enforcement of this ordinance. 
• Section 35: Post-Construction Stormwater Management: This ordinance applies to development(s) that disturb more than one acre of land. When an applicant disturbs more than one acre of land, a stormwater management plan is required. Please refer to Section 35 for full details.
