Nomination Papers for Elected Offices Available Beginning, Monday, March 6th
The Town of Eliot, Maine is seeking nominations for the following positions to be elected at the Annual Town Election on Tuesday, June 13, 2023:
- Select Board and Overseer of the Poor: Two Members for three-year term to June 2026
- Budget Committee: Two Members for three-year term to June 2026
- S.A.D. #35 Director: One Member for three-year term to June 2026
To be eligible you must be a registered voter of Eliot
Nomination papers require at least 25 but not more than 100 signatures of Eliot Registered Voters
Nomination papers may be requested anytime during the normal business hours of the Town Clerk's Office (Mon-Thurs: 8:30am to 3:30pm).
Completed nomination papers must be filed with the Clerk no later than Friday April 14, 2023 to qualify and be placed on the ballot.
Special hours for Friday, April 14th have been set for 8:30am to 10:30am as the office is normally closed on Fridays.
